Jennifer Lopez is turning 48 this year but doesn’t look a day over 25. Welcoming the new year with a seductive Instagram picture, Lopez looked nothing short of stunning. Posing with her finger in her mouth and looking off into the distance, she wore a red velvet dress that was mostly covered by a fur coat. Jennifer Lopez’s Instagram post was captioned “Looking at 2017 like… mmmhmmm u gonna get it… #lucky17 #shadesofblue#worldofdance #AllIHave #byebyebirdie#spanishalbum and thats just the beginning… more surprises to come #stayfocused #stayhumble,” hinting at current and upcoming projects.
The ageless beauty has recently been in the spotlight because of her rumored romance with 30-year-old rapper Drake. Whispers of their romance first began to circulate when both artists posted the same picture of them cuddling almost a week ago.
Lopez and Drake further fueled rumors of their romance when they spent New Year’s Eve together. JLo joined the rapper at his Las Vegas show in Hakkasan nightclub. The pair went for dinner before the show with a large group, and a source told Us Weekly that “Jennifer watched and had the best time at Drake’s show.” Another source told the publication that Jennifer Lopez “wore a red velvet halter-neck dress with a plunging neckline for their dinner and then ‘changed into a sexy ivory-color cut-out dress for the club.’” While Jennifer Lopez stayed close to her beau in Las Vegas, her special performance for New Year’s Eve with Carson Daly aired on NBC.
JLo’s Future Plans
With a barrage of movies and TV shows under her belt, Jlo is gearing up to premiere a new television show in partnership with Nuyorican Productions. Called the World of Dance, her new show will feature soloists and groups of dancers of all styles in a competition to determine who is the greatest dance on the planet. As described on the official website of Jennifer Lopez’s TV show,
“The world’s biggest celebration of urban dance and music culture is coming your way. Since 2008, the World of Dance Tour has put creativity and talent at center stage. We’ll touch down in more than 25 countries across North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. Along the way, more than 50,000 dancers will showcase their skills, plus the stars, success stories, and the urban dance community coming together.”
You won’t have to worry about their being a lack of diversity when it comes to styles of dancing on the show!
“Solo artists [will] compete against duos and crews in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, krumping, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, clogging, stomping and more.”
The reward for being deemed the best dancer(s) on the planet? One million dollars!
JLo rang in the new year looking absolutely fab with her handsome beau, and if that’s any indication of the year she’s about to have, then everyone had better watch out!
