There is no escaping it. Winter is almost here, and that means adding some extra steps into your beauty routine. Heidi Klum is one celebrity who is sharing her winter hair care and beauty secrets, and letting us in on what she does to keep looking flawless through the winter season. The 43-year-old recently stopped by beloved celebrity hairdresser, Andy LeCompte in West Hollywood, and shared with her Instagram followers that it is “Always good to get a trim.” The America’s Got Talent judge and international supermodel may not be on the runways as much as she used to be, but she still looks stunning and keeps up to date on all her beauty routines.
Sporting a fresh trimmed haircut, Heidi Klum looked ready for the cold weather as she stepped out after her visit to the salon. She was spotted carrying a large bag of products to help keep her hair protected this winter. Going for a casual chic look, Klum wore one of this season’s hottest trends, a floral, studded, embroidered moto jacket. Her beautiful jacket was worn over a distressed wool turtleneck sweater and some cropped black jeans, the perfect outfit to look chic, yet keep warm in winter weather. She finished off the look with some black aviators and suede above the ankle booties.
Heidi Klum Hairstyles
Heidi Klum is no stranger when it comes to changing her hair style. Through the years, the German-American model has shown many different styles and colors, leaving us with some major hair inspiration! Whether Klum is sporting a short haircut, or adding hair extensions to create the perfect long, wavy beautiful hairstyle, she is always on trend. She isn’t afraid of trying a new trend; whether it is sexy beachy waves, twisted updos, or full on fringes, she always remains looking chic and sophisticated. We have come to know that there isn’t a hairstyle that Klum can’t rock! Heidi Klum’s natural hair color is brown, yet she is best known for her blonde locks and is open and honest about her hair being heavily dyed and having to get her roots done every three weeks. Some may say she is a little too honest; in July 2016, Klum took to Instagram to show her followers her first grey hair, captioning it: “OMG …..just found my first grey,” along with an embarrassed face emoji.
Heidi Klum shared one of her hair treatments with Pop Sugar. “Because I have colored hair, I think it’s especially important to nourish hair from the scalp. Even if you don’t color your hair, it’s good to do that, because your hair gets stronger and shinier. You’re basically feeding your scalp and therefore your hair.” She also adds about her beauty routine, “I do like Mario Badescu Buttermilk Moisturizer because I don’t like a lot of perfume on the skin. It’s not very complicated and fake and heavy.”
Every model has their own personal favorite hair and beauty routine, but Heidi Klum seems to keep it simple. She believes that a beauty routine should be more about eating a nutritious diet. She does run two to three times a week and has a smoothie for breakfast every morning packed with fruits and vegetables, and that is what she accredits to her beautiful glowing hair and skin.
