Chloe Grace Moretz is a known style icon, so it came as no surprise when she took to Instagram on Tuesday to share her super edgy look along with gal pal Mia Bensimon. The two posed with matching bold red lips, obviously inspired by the holiday season. However, Moretz’s neon red pucker didn’t detract from her smoldering blue eyes and naturally full brows. Chloe Grace Moretz’s Instagram post was captioned “Ladies in red,” with a lipstick emoji.
Moretz wore a Marques Almeida Collection button-up shirt from their Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, with a black turtleneck underneath. Her blonde hair offered a beautiful contrast to her dark outfit choice. The fashion designer, Marques Almeida also reposted Moretz’ image wearing their AW 16 shirt, captioning it: “We love @chloegmoretz and she looks so nice wearing our AW16 shirt #marquesalmeida #chloegracemoretz #AW16.”
Although Moretz isn’t yet out of her teen years, her fashion sense is well refined. She isn’t afraid to take chances, and we love her sense of style. Back in May when she made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, she wore a stunning sheer beige ruffled blouse—not the first thing you’d expect from a 19-year-old, but it totally worked for her. The long-sleeved blouse with ruffles extending from her across her chest down her right arm gave Moretz a young yet refined look. She wore her hair in a very casual style with a side part, leaving a few strands out. Her makeup was flawless as usual and minimalistic for this talk show appearance.
Chloe Grace Moretz Sizzles During Photo Shoot for Harper’s Bazaar
2016 was a big year for this young actress. Among magazine covers and shooting movies, Chloe Grace Moretz also scored a brand ambassadorship with Coach. She recently did a shoot with Harper’s Bazaar for the brand, alongside their Jurassic mascot, Rexy.
In one shot, Moretz was pictured braced up against a haystack pretending to fend off an attack from the T-Rex. The Daily Mail reported that “The 5th Wave star dressed in a $1,900 leather red jacket that she paired with a sheer black-and-red skirt, shorts underneath and silver-studded black booties.”
In another shot, Moretz is seen atop a dinosaur, wearing a long, light pink patterned gown. Designer Stuart Vevers stood beside her, near the dinosaur’s head. In her interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Moretz said: “[Stuart’s] really made Coach embody what the youth of America is. I think this season is the closest to who I am. It feels a little bit like the bad kid, which is cool.” As the creative director for three years running, Vevers decided to make a change and is using Moretz to help. He told the magazine, “people have responded really well to fashion from Coach. Logo bags are a big part of Coach’s history. But things have to evolve; they have to change.” If Moretz’s shoot is any indication of the fierce style that’s to come from this brand being revamped, we can’t wait to see what they come out with!
