Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams took a face swap selfie and even have got matching GOT tattoos.

Face Swap

As if matching tattoos weren’t enough, GOT fans got a chance to see Turner and Williams acting like true Stark sisters after witnessing their real-life friendship in a face-swapped image on Snapchat.

When a fan asked Williams to post a selfie on Twitter, the actress surprised her fan with a face-swapped image of herself and her co-star, Turner.

When it comes to fan interactions and answering requests, there is no one who does it better than the actors from Game of Thrones.

This isn’t the pair’s first rodeo when it comes to social media interaction and face-swapping. Williams recently took to Instagram to post a montage of their Snapchat adventures. (It’s always nice to see co-stars getting along behind the scenes.)

The pair looked like they were looking at an enemy on their hit HBO show and performed the best terrified look in their selfie face swap, with Williams’ face on Turner’s body and vice versa. When the photos surfaced, GOT fans were overcome with joy, causing tweeters to name the duo “legends” and posting several memes to capture their joy over the snap (which we can’t help but look at).

Matching Tattoos

The on-screen Stark sisters have developed a close friendship since the show started years ago, and as many fans know—they have matching tattoos. The matching tattoos say “07.08.09” and are on their arms; this signifies the date they both landed their successful roles as Arya (Williams) and Sansa (Turner) Stark.

“We’ve always kind of said we wanted matching tattoos,” Turner told E! on the red carpet, adding that during season one, Turner and her Game of Thrones cast mates made plans to get matching tattoos (“wolves” were among the options) at the end of the series. However, given the rate at which important characters die on Game of Thrones, Turner and Williams decided to expedite the tattoo process in case one of them got killed off before the final season.

“We don’t know if we’re going to make it, so Maisie and I were like, ‘Let’s get these ones before anyone kills us,’” Turner said. That’s fair, to be honest.

Luckily, both Stark sisters haven’t been killed off so far, but Williams’ character came very close near the end of last season and Turner’s character has had plenty of battles of her own.
