How to Remove Blackheads from Your Face

Black Head Strips

This is one of the most convenient and common ways to get rid of blackheads on your nose. You can usually purchase blackhead removal strips from your local drugstore. Most of them require your nose to be wet before application, and after waiting 15–20 minutes, you can peel off your strip to reveal a blackhead-free nose!

Egg White Mask

This is a super easy DIY blackhead removal mask. To make it, all you need is one egg and some tissues. After separating the yolk from the egg white, dip a piece of tissue in the egg whites and apply it to your face. Repeat this until your entire face is covered. This mask will help tighten your pores, remove current blackheads, and prevent future ones.

Honey and Milk Pore Strips

A natural and more gentle option than store bought blackhead strips, this is a great option if you have sensitive skin. Simply microwave 1 tsp. of milk and 1 tbsp. of honey, and mix until they form a paste. Saturate a piece of cotton with your mixture, and apply to your nose.

Honey and Cinnamon Strips

Another natural way to prevent blackheads, this blackhead removal method is similar to the honey and milk pore strips. Mix 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp. of organic honey. Dip a piece of cotton into your mixture and place on the affected area for three to five minutes, and then cleanse.

Tomato Mask

The antiseptic properties in tomatoes are helpful for de-clogging your pores to get rid of blackheads. All you need to do is use tomato juice on the areas that have blackheads, and let to soak in for two to three hours. This will dry out all your blackheads!

Baking Soda and Water

Make a thick paste with baking soda and water, and massage the mixture into your face. After rinsing, finish with a moisturizer. Be careful not to overdo it with this method, since the pH of the baking soda can seriously dry out your skin.

Cinnamon and Lemon Juice

Mix 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder with 3 tsp of lemon juice. Use as an overnight treatment, and wash off in the morning. This option will be a week long process to completely get rid of your blackheads.

Lemon and Milk

Combine 4 tsp. of lemon juice and 2 tbsp. of milk. Apply to your face, and wait 30 minutes before rinsing.

Sugar and Olive Oil

Mix 1 tsp. of sugar and 1 tsp. of olive oil to create a natural exfoliant. Massage into the affected area and rinse.

Green Tea Solution

Add two green tea bags to 1 cup of boiling water, and let them steep for half an hour. Place your green tea solution in the fridge  when cool. Wash your face as normal, and then dab your chilled solution all over your face. After 15 minutes, rinse with cool water. Repeat this everyday for one week to see results.
