Iggy Azalea didn’t shock anyone this week when she posted a selfie from Dr. Ghavami’s laser clinic. With a graph stenciled onto her face, she was receiving some sort of laser skincare treatment. The laser skincare selfie was captioned, “Just being a little weirdo getting laser beams shot into my head and stuff.” The Grammy nominated artist is known for her love of plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures, and makes no excuses for her ever-changing looks. Iggy Azalea’s Instagram also features a photo of her and Dr. Ghavami, as she publicly thanks the plastic surgeon for her fabulous nose and breasts.

There are numerous web sites with Iggy Azalea before-and-after surgery photos, and her doctor has even come forward to discuss some of the procedures she has had done.  Ghavami explains that he works by the motto “‘keep them guessing” when it comes to giving his clients natural-looking results. “Her breasts were super small and super wide apart, so I wanted to bring them towards the middle and give her a lot more cleavage, but not go too big where it looks obvious,” he told People magazine. “When you have small breasts and you have thin skin above it, when you go too big they look like balls, so I wanted to create as natural shape as possible, but give her enough size to proportion her tall, big-hipped frame. I wanted to proportion her out without making her look top-heavy or getting in the way of dancing.”

Iggy Azalea was booked to perform with Jennifer Lopez at the American Music Awards just four days after her surgery. Ghavami performs his breast augmentations so that his patients will be recovered in less than 24 hours by using a technique that involves placing the implant under the muscle so it doesn’t interfere with the blood vessels. For Iggy Azalea’s nose, Ghavami focused on changing the shape of the tip, changing it from being twisted, wide, and boxy to narrow and refined. Ghavami tells People magazine that he admires Azalea for being open about her plastic surgery procedures. “When someone like Iggy comes out and does this, I think it’s so good because everyone out there, little girls and working moms, are looking at social media and there are all these airbrushed images and Photoshopped images, and people have had surgery on top of that to boot,” he explains. “Most of those people do not admit to anything, so a lot of those girls grow up to think, ‘What’s wrong with me? Why am I not perfect?’”

The latest laser treatment that Iggy Azalea is receiving is only one of a long list of anti-aging products she includes in her skin care routine. Part of her beauty secret is receiving platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy known for its skin-rejuvenating benefits. The non-invasive procedure involves using a patient’s own blood and putting it into a centrifuge to isolate platelets that contain natural growth factors, which are then injected back into the skin. This improves skin tone and texture, increases collagen production, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Along with the various treatments Iggy Azalea receives, she keeps her makeup bold with inky cat eyeliner and a striking red lip, which is picture perfect against her beautiful alabaster skin.
