Shades of Blue star and singer Jennifer Lopez starred in a new photoshoot for Giuseppe Zanotti, and it was no surprise when Jennifer Lopez shared a sizzling snap on Thanksgiving.
Lopez, the mother of twins, is known for many things: singing, acting, glowing skin, ageless skin, and more. When it comes to skin care and her health, Lopez does whatever it takes and relies on her handy makeup artist to make sure not one eyelash is out of place.
The actress is now on set in New York City, filming the second season of her hit show Shades of Blue, but has also been busy with other projects. After two decades in the entertainment business, two kids, a hit show, and a sold-out Vegas registry, Lopez found time to do a shoe collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti.
Lopez’ New Photoshoot
In an issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Lopez is seen in a new photoshoot for her new shoe line, Giuseppe for Jennifer Lopez. And it’s as expensive as you can imagine, given the singer’s high profile life. Just one pair of her shoes can cost at least $1,250 and her photoshoot had the singer looking expensive in a $16,000 Balmain dress and a $3,000 belt form Barney’s. No, there’s nothing wrong with those numbers—those are the real prices!
“I first met Giuseppe years ago, and I remember him just being a really sweet spirit,” she said to Harper’s Bazaar. “He came to my house. Even back then we talked about doing a collaboration together. We talked about different things, a music video I was about to do, all kinds of stuff. He went through my closet, and we sat in there. We were supposed to just meet and say hello, but he wound up staying for hours, and we just talked fashion. He was like, ‘Oh, my gosh! You have those shoes? They only made 10 of those!’ I’ve been a huge fan of his for a long time.”
Recently, Lopez took to Instagram during Thanksgiving to give fans some major “Throwback Thursday” and it was sizzling, to say the least. The Shades of Blue actress was seen in a La Perla swimsuit, Versace sunglasses, Bulgarri earrings, and Giuseppe shoes. It was a throwback to Lopez’s Giuseppe photoshoot and she looked like she hasn’t aged in years and her career has never been better, and part of the reason is her amazing closet.
“I love hoops, jeans, boots, and sparkle,” she said. “If you look back to my first red-carpet days, it’s short, sparkly Versace dresses. I know everybody knows the green jungle dress, but I’m more about Versace’s chain mail and Swarovski crystal dresses, which I’ve been doing since back then.”
