Victoria’s Secret Angel Joan Smalls has become one of the newest faces of the Replay Touch Jeans ad campaign. Smalls, who is one of the leading models in the industry right now, just made a splash at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show where fans watched the 28-year-old model strut down the catwalk sporting the largest wings to ever appear on the VS runway. She wore a black sheer bodysuit accessorized with a black velvet belt and strappy sandals. Later in the show, the model was seen again on the catwalk wearing a hunter-green bra and thong set with a red 70’s style trench coat featuring flower embroidery that matched her suede over-the-knee boots.
Smalls is no stranger to walking a runway, as she has modeled haute couture and ready-to-wear collections for designers and fashion houses such as Chanel, Gucci, Prada, and Versace. Joan Smalls is also somewhat of an alumni, appearing in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since 2011.
Joan Smalls’ Replay Campaign, Joins Irina Shayk & Stella Maxwell
Joan Smalls, along with fellow models Stella Maxwell and Irina Shayk, has gone topless in the latest advertising campaign for women’s Replay jeans. The racy advertisements show the threesome wearing nothing but the Italian brand’s denim, clearly portraying the message that Touch Jeans are all you need. Luckily, the three models who had to strip down together are old friends, having all just walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The woman’s fashion ads, photographed by Mert & Marcus, show the three gals posing topless while sharing close embraces. The trio of models pictured in the Replay Jeans Touch commercial are styled with natural makeup, with their hair in beach inspired tousled waves. Wearing a mixture of light wash denim to pure black, the three models offered some very provocative poses for the Replay Jeans’ latest campaign.
Smalls also showed off her love for the iconic brand, sharing some photos of her wearing the new Touch Jeans. It is nice to see that the models actually do love what they are modeling and are wearing the clothes in their real life. One photo Smalls posted to Instagram shows the curvy model showing off her assets with her backside to the camera.
The model has become somewhat of an industry trailblazer and is vocal about model’s accepted sizes and diversity within the modeling world. Smalls recently told The Telegraph, “I hate being skinny, and being a little weakling thing. I want to be able to take a punch and give a punch and feel empowered.” In the ad campaign, the Puerto Rican model had to wear the skinniest of the jeans, which suck you in, shaving off a dress size. The new Touch Jeans line also acts as a second skin, promising to refrain from sagging at the knees and behind after wearing. If the jeans live up to their name sake and make us look as good as the trio modelling them, the new styles should be flying off shelves over the Christmas holidays!
