If you’ve watched Dancing with the Stars and thought Julianne Hough’s hairstyle in 2016 isn’t possible for the everyday girl, then you would be sadly mistaken. The DWTS judge has amazed us all with her braided top knot, hair accessories, and a bobby pin hairstyle look.
Julianne Hough’s hair can do no wrong and seems to have an endless supply of beauty moments on the show. If you want Julianne Hough’s hair for 2016 or Julianne Hough’s hair color, then you’re in luck.
We have five of Hough’s hairstyles, and awesome accessories, from 2016 below.
After watching Hough on DWTS, we realized that she’ hasn’t just perfected judging dancers, but she has also found a way to make hair accessories work. Most girls can imagine wearing a headband to the gym, but Hough is a professional at incorporating bobby pins, headbands, and even diamond crowns, in her everyday life—proving you don’t need to be royalty to be a princess.
The Diamond Headpiece
Hough’s celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri, had to use 37 bobby pins to place the diamond headpiece on Hough’s head. The headpiece is actually a few different bejeweled pieces combined.
The Simple Black Headband
You may notice anyone wearing an up do on any given, but if you do it—feel free to go all out and turn some heads. Hough accented her style with a thin black headband (virtually found anywhere), making her ready for any red carpet. It’s even a handy go-to option if you have no idea how to wear your hair to an event.
The Bobby Pins
Why use one bobby pin only to ignore all the others? Hough managed to create a pattern of several bobby pins on the side of her hair, and not surprisingly, it worked.
The Hair Ribbons
You must wear the ribbon! Is anyone else having a Seinfeld flashback? This is probably one of the best Julianne Hough hair moments that fans love to see. Her triple headband game is on point and can be worn with any outfit.
Thanks to celebrity stylist Chad Wood, Hough was able to rock a great topknot style. A few weeks ago, on DWTS, fans got to see Hough in a gold dress with the favored topknot hairstyle. Wood got the inspiration from actress Jaime King but with a twist. The barrette itself is part of celebrity stylist Jen Atkin’s “Chloe + Isabel” line, which means you can get it too!
