Nobody really likes to workout, and that includes Kate Beckinsale. One thing that keeps her going back to the gym is how it makes her feel afterwards.  Beckinsale meets with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson five or six times a week for intense workout sessions, which have helped her land on the front cover of  Jan/Feb 2017 Shape magazine. The 43-year-old British actress is flawless on the cover, showing that age is just a number. Kate Beckinsale’s age may say she is in her 40’s, but fans will be left shocked and jealous after seeing her cover shot for the health magazine. Beckinsale’s skin care routine, diet, and exercise all attribute to her beautiful toned body and glowing skin.

Kate Beckinsale’s Shape magazine interview revealed some secrets about her workout schedule. “I start out absolutely dreading it, do an incredibly punishing workout, bitch about it the whole time, and end up feeling 100 percent better when I leave. Working out is basically nature’s antidepressant. I love yoga, and that’s all I used to do, but hardcore workouts have really made a big difference in my life,” she tells the magazine. “I have a lot of internal energy, and intense exercise helps me channel that energy. I find balance by doing a workout that makes me pour sweat. I never was that girl before, but I am now.”

Kate Beckinsale’s workout is carefully planned by personal friend and trainer Gunnar Peterson, who helps her get through the grueling workouts. The two have created a friendship, and Beckinsale enjoys spending time with the celebrity trainer, “I work out hard with Gunnar five or six times a week,” Beckinsale said. “We have loads in common, like our kids. During our sessions we have long talks about teenagers, and then suddenly one day I find that my ass is in a lot better shape than I thought it was!”

Kate Beckinsale’s Clean Diet

As for Kate Beckinsale’s diet, the actress tried being a vegetarian, but after some time, found it made her energy levels low. She now lives by a clean diet full of vegetables that incorporates chicken and fish. She also steers clear of alcohol, and has never actually even finished an entire glass of anything alcoholic.

According to celebrity aesthetician Kat Rudu, who sat down with E! News to talk about her client, Kate Beckinsale’s anti-aging secrets include keeping her skin hydrated both inside and out. This is achieved with hyaluronic acid treatments. “When I work on Kate we do an exfoliation, we do a pore cleansing of course and I am really known for my extractions. Then we go into hyaluronic acid which she is obsessed with. We just pour hyaluronic acid onto the skin for a really long time and just massage it and massage it. And then we end it with a vitamin oxygen infusion.”

Kate Beckinsale’s Instagram has fans gushing over the beautiful actress captured in an eight second clip of her posing for the cameras of Shape magazine. The actress looks stunning as she moves into different poses for the photographer.
