Kate Upton and Emily Ratajowski turned heads as they showed up to the Vince Camuto holiday dance party on Tuesday night. Held at The A-List in Beverly Hills, this holiday party took place in close proximity to where Upton and fiancé Justin Verlander recently bought a new home together. With their simple party makeup looks on point, the gorgeous duo wore all black ensembles that made us want to ditch color all together.
Bombshells in Black
Emily Ratajowski wore a high-waisted jumpsuit with a satin bottom and studded top, while fashion twin Kate Upton channelled her inner flapper with a sequinned fringed skirt by Mathieu Mirano, a plain black sleeveless top, and men’s inspired tuxedo jacket. The pair paid homage to host Vince Camuto by wearing both shoes and purses by the designer. Ratajowski wore studded d’Orsay heels, and Upton sported strappy satin sandals. Both models also carried similar Camuto clutches, with Kate holding the Yoko style and Emily the Maya.
When you hear the words “jumpsuit” and “tuxedo jacket,” you’d naturally think their looks were conservative or not necessarily curve accentuating. But if you have any remote idea who these models are, you’d know that’s not the case. Making anything they wear impossibly sexy, the pair rocked these outfits with almost too much glamour to handle. Their chic outfits weren’t the only thing so similar it seemed planned. In addition to their monochromatic outfits, Upton and Ratajkowski donned similar makeup looks. Both wore nude lips, a subtle smoky eye, and tastefully tousled hair styles.
Upton’s makeup artist Allan Avendano was so smitten with her entire look for the night, he posted a photo to Instagram crediting all those who contributed to her gorgeous Vince Camuto holiday party look.
Kate Upton’s Beauty Routine
Kate Upton has been killing the beauty game with her chic lob (long bob) haircut and smoldering smoky eyes lately. Her signature blonde hair color and sultry makeup look totally inspire us to snag a similar look. Luckily, Glamour came up with some tips on how to score the perfect Upton inspired eye look:
Curl your lashes. Curling your eyelashes before you apply mascara will open up your eyes, and make your lashed seem fuller.
Balance dark eye shadows with shimmery ones. It’s easy to get carried away with dark shadows, and you can end up with raccoon eyes faster than you think if you’re not careful. Sweeping a shimmery shade across your lid and on your brow brown will highlight and create some balance with the color you’re smoking out.
Find a liner that lasts. A little smudged liner is key when it comes to the smokiest of eyes, but you don’t want to continually smudge throughout the day. A waterproof formula is ideal, so that it doesn’t smudge beyond your desire.
Use a lengthening mascara. Long, lush lashes are the perfect complement to a smoky eyeshadow look. Using the tip of your mascara wand can help you create a smudgy effect, and get in between every lash.
