It doesn’t seem that long ago that Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, was just an infant living in France with Depp and his then-partner, Vanessa Paradis. However, she’s come of age and like her parents, on her way to becoming a fashion and social icon. Along with picking up acting roles in movies such as Tusk and Yoga Hosers, plus numerous modeling gigs, she recently posed for French Vogue’s cover with fashion design icon, Karl Lagerfeld. Lagerfeld is the guest editor of this new edition of the popular fashion magazine that will appear just in time for Christmas. Recently, Lily Rose-Depp has become involved with product endorsement, particularly with Chanel. This has sparked much public interest in her own beauty looks, makeup tips and style concepts that separate her from other upcoming models and actresses her age.

Many Shades

Johnny Depp is known for being able to adopt many different looks as an actor—no matter how extraordinary—in films as different as Edward Scissorhands, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and his Oscar-nominated turn in Pirates of the Caribbean. Vanessa Paradis was known to look stunning and fresh on any red carpet appearance, not to mention her appearances as a singer and actress in her native France. Hence it’s no surprise that daughter Lily-Rose Depp has adopted the best of both worlds from her parents.

Many fashionistas have noted that she has a fresh look about her face, much like her mother, which has been attributed to her natural pink facial pigmentation with the addition of complexion-warming mascara tints to her cheeks. And like her father, her eyes, with the aid of some added eye shade, have a haunting but alluring quality that enhances her facial character. These basic makeup tips are what give Lily-Rose Depp her unique looks and an easy beauty bag to pack for anyone seeking a similar look themselves.

Cover Story

The Christmas December 2016 cover appearance on French Vogue has brought much attention to both Depp and Lagerfeld, not to mention the talent behind the image. Hedi Slimane, the former creative director of Yves Saint Laurent who parted ways with the brand under controversial circumstances last spring, was responsible for the shoot, which has already circulated across global social media platforms.

More recently, Lily-Rose Depp has already gained additional media hype due to her becoming the face of Chanel No. 5 fragrance in 2015 and No. 5 L’Eau in 2016. She has also appeared in the recent French biographical film, The Dancer, about the famed Isadora Duncan.
