GOT’s Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, not only has a new tattoo, but she also made an appearance recently at the Fantastic Beasts premiere in London.

The Game of Thrones star, 19, took a break from filming the upcoming season of the hit HBO fantasy and decided to grace the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them blue carpet in Leicester Square. Williams wore a green kilt, black shirt, colorful ascot, and black knee high socks, a far cry away from her character Arya Stark—who wouldn’t have been able to fit Needle in her purse. It’s safe to say that Williams was easily the most casual person on the blue carpet that night.

Fantastic Beasts

The blockbuster film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is another installment of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. It’s based on the 2001 book by the same name, about magical creatures in the wizarding world. The book takes place in 1926, before the events in the Harry Potter books and films. Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander, a British wizard who goes on a wild adventure in New York, while researching and looking for magical creatures. Rowling has stated that the new series will contain five movies in total.

New Ink?

During her time on the blue carpet, Williams showed off her “07.08.09” tattoo, which matches the tattoo of GoT co-star Sophie Turner. Though some fans and media outlets may believe this to be a new tattoo, it isn’t. Williams and Turner don’t just play sisters on Game of Thrones, they’re also best friends. The pair got matching tattoos to remember the date when they both landed their roles on the hit show, hence the tattoo, which means “August 7, 2009.”

Game of Thrones

When Williams isn’t on red or blue carpets, she’s hard at work on the second last season of Game of Thrones. Earlier in the summer, Williams took to Twitter to talk to fans about her reaction when she read the season seven script.

“Holy BALLS. Just finished reading season 7. I’d start preparing yourselves now,” wrote Williams.

“Scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this. S*** gets REAL.”

Arya worried fans when they thought she was near the end of her life after being stabbed in broad daylight, but were relieved when she returned, finally getting her revenge.

New Ink… Again?

It looks like Williams has more ink to show fans, after it was discovered on Twitter, that the actress had a hidden ankle tattoo. In a teasing tweet, Williams tempted fans to try and uncover her other tattoo.

“Someone gonna spot my other tattoo yet or what….,” wrote Williams.

In the end, the actress said the not-so-secret tattoo was revealed to be an old one, which came in the form of Japanese characters marked with red ink. The phrase roughly translated means “adventure,” which makes sense, seeing as how much of that Williams gets while filming Game of Thrones.
