Mariah Carey just took to social media to give a special Christmas holiday gift to all of her adoring fans. The diva just released her new video, “Here Comes Santa Claus,” on her Mariah’s World website. Carey’s Christmas video shows the singer dressed in a sparkling red gown that leaves little to the imagination. She looks stunning as she sings the traditional holiday song, all while Santa, his elves, and toy soldier drummer boys dance around her. Her Christmas holiday gift to her fans shows the singer in full Christmas cheer as she performs the song from her 2010 album Merry Christmas II You. Carey’s Christmas albums have become synonymous with the holiday season, as her hit song “All I Want for Christmas is You“ is one of the best-selling singles of all time.
Mariah Carey, just on the brink of finishing up her residency Christmas show titled All I Want for Christmas: A Night of Joy and Festivity, flew to Aspen with new boyfriend Bryan Tanaka. The pair were spotted stepping off her private jet as only Mariah Carey could. The diva appeared in a fluffy white fur coat, black fishnet stockings, and thigh high black stiletto boots. The photos posted recently to Instagram look as though that was the most clothing Carey had worn so far on her Aspen holiday trip. The pair are reportedly staying in a $22 million estate in Aspen for the holiday season with Mariah’s five-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
The diva posted a Merry Christmas wish to all her fans with a photo of herself posing beside a giant Christmas tree, dressed in a black and red plaid shirt that barely covers her purple bra. The sexy look was finished with a pair of black furry boots. Luckily, Carey covered up a little more for her next video posted to Instagram, as she took to the kitchen to make her favorite sauce. Dressed in a red silk robe, the singer danced around playfully with son Monroe in the kitchen while she wished her fans greetings for the holiday season.
Carey’s show, which was performed at the Beacon theater in Manhattan, New York, ran for six nights and grossed over $1.5 million. The Christmas show included songs from her two hit Christmas albums, with additional non-holiday tracks. The extravagant show included a cast of over forty performers to help spread some holiday cheer. Other musicians also teamed up with Carey to perform including R. Kelly and John Legend. The last show ended on a spectacular high note, when the Empire State Building announced its plans to light up the night sky every night until Christmas with alight show synced to the singer’s most famous song, “All I Want for Christmas is You.” If you can’t be in New York to see the spectacular light show yourself, many websites online are streaming the Christmas mashup.
