Ariel Winter’s Instagram page was the first to reveal the new look of the bubbly actress. The picture of the star with her stylish new hairdo and embellished black gown with cutouts received over 68,000 likes and 200 comments from her fans. The Modern Family star’s hair makeover was for the Critics’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
The sultry black number with silver pearl embellishments and side cut-outs by Uel Camilo looked elegant on the actress. The Modern Family star chose to wear her lob hairstyle in a top knot, with bangs gracing her face. Winter kept her makeup and accessories to a minimum allowing her new hairdo to take the center stage.
The 18-year-old television star arrived with her friend and co-star, Nolan Gould. Gould also took to Instagram to post a picture of the duo at the Awards. “We’re at the Critics’ Choice Awards! Wish us luck!” wrote the young actor who donned a fitting tux with a checkered shirt and black bow tie.
Modern Family which previously won the title for Best Comedy Series in 2011 is up for a nomination yet again. The hit show is competing for the award along with Atlanta, Blackish, Fleabag, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Silicon Valley, and Veep.
Ariel Winter’s Sleek Bob Haircut
A wise decision of opting for a short haircut, however ensuring her locks still frame her face, Ariel Winter took on the lob or the long bob. Never being afraid of experimenting with her looks, Winter recently spoke about changing her hairstyle regularly. “It makes me feel like a new person every time, and I’m like, hey what’s up! I’ve wanted to dye my hair blue or pink or something, but it’s so hard to do that without breaking off your entire head of hair,” said the teenage beauty on hair color experimentation.
Ariel Winter’s Look at the Emmys
For Winter’s skin, makeup artist, Toby Fleischman, used It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination Foundation after prepping her face. This gave her an even look, eliminating any imperfections. Her eyes were highlighted using Cashmere, a shimmery gold cream shadow by Pur (launching shortly) and was followed by Suede, a bronzing cream shadow for her lower lids. False eyelashes by Ardell finished her look. Fleischman used CoverGirl LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara to blend the lashes together and even out the look.
For her lips, a combination of Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands and Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in Cherry was used to give her lips volume and sheen. Her look was finally completed with Mally Evercolor Poreless Face Defender.
Ariel Winter’s hair was towel-dried before smoothening it with Garnier Fructis Full & Plush Voluptuous Blow Out and following it with Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Sleek Primer Style Prep all the way from her mid-lengths to the tips. After using a blow dryer and curling iron to set her hair into loose old-style curls, Fleischman used Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray to keep her hairdo in place.
