Victoria’s Secret model Romee Strijd stunned in beautiful nail & hair curls backstage of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel was seen getting some last-minute curls by celebrity hairstylist Sarah Potempa, using the Beachwaver Curling Iron.
While the trusty iron is normally $200.00, it’s on sale for $130.00, which means you can get the long, curly manes just like the Angels! The Beachwaver is motorized, which means you can control the curls on your own. This work of art can seriously cut down on curling time, and is the perfect gift for anyone who loves their curls. The Beachwaver ensures that your curls will stay intact all day and all night.
So, strike while the iron’s hot and get this hot ticket item, before they run out!
Beauty Secrets from Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd
Whether you’re going makeup free, or looking for the right hair conditioner, Strijd knows just what you need.
The Victoria’s Secret model had no problem surrendering her beauty secrets to Elle in an interview. The model’s tips aren’t just “drink lots of water” like some of the others—she adds a little more to it than that.
“I try to take off my makeup as much as possible with water,” Strijd said to Elle. “I use Bioderma Cleansing Water, but that’s the only one I use because I feel some makeup removers are really aggressive for your skin or they’re too oily. At night, I just use that then put on my Embryolisse and that’s it. I don’t use a lot of products. I’m too tired to do a 10-step routine.”
And when it comes to her beauty routine, the young model is like some of her friends and fellow models. She likes to keep it simple and takes minimal effort, with maximum results.
“My five-minute beauty routine involves waking up, giving myself a splash of ice cold water, putting on my Embryolisse to moisturize my skin, some Rosebud Salve on my lips, blow dry my hair, and that’s probably it! Maybe a little bronzer–the one from Charlotte Tilbury with the highlighter and bronzer in one.”
Strijd also moisturizes her face and goes makeup free when she’s not working. And when looking for a conditioner that is best suited for a model, you want to take your cues from her.
“I love to use volumizing shampoo, and use conditioner only at the ends because otherwise it makes your hair too flat. I use John Frieda‘s [shampoo and conditioner] at the moment, and I’ve used the VS Volume shampoo–I have to say that one’s really good. Then, I just blow dry my hair and put it in a bun and let it down after an hour.”
